Mothers Day Celebration – Scout & Molly’s will be offering some great deals/discounts and will be serving mimosas. Aqua Grill is serving a special brunch menu from 11am until 2pm, along with some special items specifically for Mothers day up until 9pm. Metro Diner will be serving $2.99 mimosas and bloody marys. Ponte Vedra Lodge and Club will be serving a unique brunch for members and resort guests, seating begins at 11am. Sawgrass Marriott will be serving brunch starting at 11am, every mother will be gifted a free sparkling wine or mimosa.

The Taste of Golf – June 6th, 6;30pm-10pm. This is the culinary event of the year, exquisite chefs from the top private clubs and resorts in North Florida. The event, now in its 14th year, serves as the largest fundraiser and ‘friend-raiser’ for The First Tee of North Florida. Each year, the best club and resort chefs are selected to participate in this evening of elegant decor, live music, a silent auction… and great food!

TPC Sawgrass – May 20th, 7:30am-12:00pm. This year the annual Celebrity Golf Classic will celebrate 24 years. This signature event became the foundation on which the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund was built. When this annual tradition began in 1996 it was to celebrate the life of Jay McGillis, raise funds for local families tackling childhood cancer, and have a good time. That first tournament raised $51,600. Last year’s tournament raised over half a million dollars. On Monday morning, tee it up with each foursome being matched with a celebrity participant for a special round of golf on THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass.

Ponte Vedra Concert Hall – WineHoused – The Amy Celebration, Friday, May 31, 7pm. The show will consist of a ten piece band tribute to the style, beauty, and music of Amy Winehouse. Rich horns, lush background vocals and a show that has been lauded as a “full-fledged Amy party. Click here for tickets and more details.

Pure Barre – May 17th – May 19th. Grand Opening in the Sawgrass Village. To celebrate, they are offering free classes, discounts, and surprise referral program that could lead you up to a free year of Pure Barre.

Sawgrass Country Club– The older clubhouse has began demolition this month and to make way for the new 32,000 square foot clubhouse. This will be the largest construction project that the community will experience in its 40 plus year history. The renovation will cost about 20-25 million dollars and will be 8,000 square feet bigger than the previous clubhouse.The club director of membership services, Janet Collins said there was an 80 percent approval amongst the members. The construction is set in three phases and is projected to be finished late fall of 2020.
