Oakbridge Golf Course – Oakbridge golf course closed at the end of September for renovations and construction. There have been multiple complaints about the quality of the golf course in the recent past and the neighborhood decided to do a complete renovation. This statement was issued on TheOakBridgeClub.com, “We have started the multi-million dollar renovation of our golf course into a completely new 12 hole course with other recreational enhancement to include a par three course, a new practice facility and Pickleball courts. Our Tennis Center and 3 Palms Grille will continue normal operation during this time. The golf course grand reopening is slotted for the Fall of 2020.”
Ponte Vedra Concert Hall – The month of October is packed with great shows coming to the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall! The five time GRAMMY-winner, platinum recording artist Marty Stuart will be performing on Thursday, October 10th at 8pm (gates open at 7pm). The show is almost sold out, click here to grab one of the last tickets. Also, Wynonna & The Big Noise will be performing on Sunday, October 27th at 7:30pm (gates open at 6:30pm). Wynonna has sold over 30 million albums world-wide, has received over 60 industry awards, has had 20 No. 1 hits including “Why Not Me” and “Grandpa”. Tickets are going fast, click here to get them!
Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Let’s wear pink to show our support and create awareness for breast cancer. If you’d like to support and donate toward the cause, click here to be directed to the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc.. Also, Scout and Molly’s in the Sawgrass Village is offering 10% off all pink clothing until October 6th.
Ponte Vedra Beach Triathlon – Ponte Vedra Triathlon will take place at Mickler’s Landing Beach on Sunday, October 13, 2019. It will feature olympic and sprint, triathlon, duathlon, aquabike and more. Sunflower on Brown – If you like art, you will love this event. This coming up Sunday, October 6th from 3pm-5pm at Paint with a Twist (Paint and Sip Studio #105), they will be hosting a painting event for adults and kids. For adults, it is BYOB.
