Daylight Savings Time: Sunday, March 10th – At 2 a.m., the clocks will spring forward to 3 a.m., losing an hour of sleep and also gaining an hour of sunlight in the evening.

THE PLAYERS Championship, March 12th – March 17th – For the first time since 1983, the PLAYERS will be held in the month of March. Besides the dates changing, the notable change will be the weather. The average temperatures in Ponte Vedra Beach in March is 71 degrees/54 degrees, compared to May which is 83 degrees/67 degrees . The tournament would include a $12.5 million purse, “the biggest prize professional golf has ever seen for a single tournament.” The new purse is a $1.5 million increase (13.6 percent) from 2018, of which the winner will now take home $2.25 million for conquering the Stadium Course. The defending champion is Webb Simpson who won by four strokes and tying the third lowest score in tournament history (-18).  For ticket information, click here

A Bowie Celebration: The David Bowie Alumni Tour Friday, March 15 – At the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, A Bowie Celebration features alumni band members Mike Garson, Earl Slick, Charlie Sexton and Carmine Rojas along with world-class vocalists such as Bernard Fowler and Corey Glover, among others, and drummer Lee John performing a mix of Bowie’s hits and deep-cuts. Military Appreciation Day: Tuesday, March 12 – A special performance by country music artist Jon Pardi will headline Military Appreciation Day on Tuesday, March 12, and is one of many military-focused events that honor the men and women of uniform, a longtime PGA TOUR tradition. New this year, the Military Appreciation Day Ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the Concert will kick-off at 5:30 p.m. on the Island Green 17^th hole. The Military Appreciation Day Ceremony and Concert is free to any Tuesday ticket holder; a Tuesday Stadium Pass starts at just $25.
