Village Arts Framing and Gallery Winter Evening Open House – Friday Jan 25th  & Saturday Jan 26th, 4:00PM – 8:00PM. Come meet gallery artists and learn about the inspiration and technique of their art. They’re featuring three new artists to the gallery — Lisa Cederberg watercolor — Tina Guarano Davis, oil — Kerri Keene, pastel. The gallery is filled with new art by all our artists in oil, watercolor, pastel, photography and mixed media. We look forward to greeting you and enjoying an evening of art, conversation and light refreshments.

The Outlaws at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall – Friday Jan 25th, 2019. Gate Open at 7:00PM/Concert at 8:00PM. Formed in Tampa in 1972, The Outlaws – known for their triple-guitar rock attack and three-part country harmonies – became one of the first acts signed by Clive Davis (at the urging of Ronnie Van Zant) to his then-fledgling Arista Records.  Known as ‘The Florida Guitar Army’ by their fans, The Outlaws earned a formidable reputation as an incendiary live act touring with friends The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Marshall Tucker Band and The Charlie Daniels Band as well as The Doobie Brothers, The Who, Eagles and The Rolling Stones. TPC Global Headquarters – The first cement has been poured for the foundation for the new 187,000 sq. ft. TPC Global Headquarters.  It is expected to be finished by 2020.  It’s going to be located off of County Road 210 and surrounded by a freshwater lake, echoing the iconic “Island Green” on the 17th hole from THE PLAYERS Stadium Course.  It will have 20 foot wide bridges, 17 occupied buildings and will house over 750 employees.  This solidifies Florida, even more so, to be the golf capital of the world.

 

The Lunar Eclipse Floods Car – On January 20, 2019, gave us a rare sighting to the “Super Wolf Blood Moon” that was eagerly watched my millions of people around the world.  A few people arrived on Ponte Vedra Beach with their SUV to get a closer look at the phenomenon.  While gazing up into the stars, high tide crept up and swallowed the vehicle, it was towed the next morning.  Click the photo to read the story
